Work spans three areas. Application development uses Azure App Service, Azure's platform-as-a-service for hosting web and API workloads, Azure Functions, Azure's serverless compute serviceand Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure's managed Kubernetes servicebacked by Azure SQL, Microsoft's fully managed relational database serviceAzure Cosmos DB, Microsoft's globally distributed multi-model databaseand Azure Blob Storage, Azure's object storage service. Migration work moves on-premise SQL Server databases.NET applications and file infrastructure to Azure. DevOps automation produces Azure Pipelines, the CI/CD component of Azure DevOpsand infrastructure code written in Bicep, Microsoft's domain-specific language for Azure infrastructure as codeor Terraform, HashiCorp's open-source infrastructure-as-code tool. Details on migration scope appear on the cloud migration services page; pipeline and automation specifics are on the DevOps and CI/CD page.
Azure is the right fit when an organisation's identity layer runs through Azure Active Directory (Microsoft Entra ID), Microsoft's cloud identity serviceits primary databases are SQL Server, or its teams operate inside Microsoft 365 and Teams. It is less likely to be the right choice when an organisation has no existing Microsoft dependencies and its engineering team is already experienced on AWS or Google Cloud, those scenarios are covered on the AWS and Google Cloud pages.
Netofficials works as an extension of the client's engineering function. The client retains ownership of the Azure subscription, all infrastructure code and every pipeline from the first sprint. Delivery follows defined engagement stages, scoping, architecture review, build or migration, and handover, so the client's team can operate and extend the environment independently after the engagement ends.
